TCET aims at continuous enhancement and sustenance of quality in technical education. The quality assurance provides confidence to the stakeholders for developing competent graduates in an efficient and effective way. Quality assurance at TCET has two elements:

Internal Quality Assurance:
TCET obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2005 and got recertified successively till date. To verify the commitment for quality management system, TCET conducts internal quality assessment audits every semester and external surveillance audit on a regular basis from an "External Peer Team" in accordance with UGC guidelines..

Assessment and Accreditation:
The accreditation status indicates that the particular institute meets the standards of quality set by the accreditation agency in terms of its performance related to the educational process and outcomes.

TCET obtained NBA (National Board of Accreditation – established by AICTE in 1994) accreditation for three years for all its eligible UG programs right from 2011 and in civil and Mechanical department since 2021. Along-with NBA accreditation, TCET also obtained NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council – an autonomous body established by UGC) accreditation with “A” grade for five years with effect from October 2017 and further extended till 2024.

In its commitment to ensure quality in all academics and administrative processes, the institute has got “Autonomous” status from academic year 2019-2020 and deployed an innovative scheme with focus on holistic education leading to enhanced employability. Specialization credits with honors and minor degree are integrated for interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary learning..

The Internal Quality assurance Cell(IQAC) takes the responsibility of developing a system for conscious and consistent improvement in the overall performance of the institute. IQAC is responsible for development, application and monitoring of quality benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.

The IQAC at TCET believes that "Quality is not an Act, it is a habit..."
